Chumash & Navi Text Skills

We utilize a number of skills-based systems including L’Havin U’lehaskil and iTaLAM to guide students from their first exposure to biblical text toward independent translation and analysis. Our multifaceted approach gives students a deep familiarity with the Torah’s narratives while simultaneously developing their ability to decipher and understand Torah texts.  Students acquire skills in identifying Hebrew root words (shorashim) and grammar structures (dikduk), and practice decoding skills in preparation for lifelong learning.
