LECTURE SERIES CONTINUES
Next Tuesday evening, November 11th, at 7:00 p.m., the Gan Aviv Preschool Lecture series continues with Karen Friedland Brown, MA, speaking on “Set Limits and Save Your Sanity” - considering problems, evaluating options and learning techniques to set limits with one’s children that will save one’s sanity.
Karen is Coordinator of Parent Education, Parents Place of the Peninsula; and parent educator/trainer/consultant. She brings with her thirty years of experience in special education and is co-author of the revised edition of “Parentmaking: A Practical Handbook for Teaching Parents.”
The turnout at our 1st lecture was outstanding and we look forward to an even larger audience at this 2nd lecture; this is a most informative and educational series.

NEW ART EXHIBIT
SPHDS’ outdoor art gallery is currently having a wonderful student art exhibit based on the art of world renowned Israeli artist, Yaacov Agam who created the kinetic and optical art movement.
After art teacher Naomi Zamir explained Agam’s techniques and his use of color, the students designed their own works of art which are currently displayed on the outside wall of the MPR that faces the parking lot.
Come and view this most interesting art exhibit, our students really got it! Visually, when one stands to the left there is one abstract picture and when one stands to the right there is another.
